Andre was in a lose-lose. If he had capitalized on the injury, people would say his win was a big fluke. The "win" would be meaningless because the entire world including myself believes a healthy version of Sean beats him easily. There was just no way for Andre to look good. Maybe he can be a somebody at Bellator. Definitely not in the UFC.
Interesting fight. So when you have more significant strikes then the total number of strikes your opponent has but don't go for for the finish is that maturity? Lack of a killer instinct? I wonder if he hadn't hurt his foot on that kick if he would of gotten a finish. Soukhamath had good instincts to take the fight to the ground once the injury occurred but he didn't seem able to do much with that position. Some good scrambles to get himself out of trouble in the second but seem to need to work on offensive positions while on the ground.
