Never have I skipped the video forward for a main event fight... Woodley is SO god damn boring to watch.  He's like 'I will do as little as is possible to win this fight'  **Oops meant to edit... bit baked **

Agreed. but I think it's worth noting that he was not the champion when these fights went down. He was fighting to get something. Now, will he fight to keep it?
It will be interesting to see how he handles Lawler in a rematch if it happens.

Woodley has taken over GSPs mantle as the most boring fighter on the roster. GSP dry humped for 25 mins and Woodley runs around for 25 minutes.

I can't really see anything changing. He was super tentative against Wonderboy and barely threw anything and everyone knew Maia couldn't take him down, so he could have ended the fight whenever he wanted. But he just didn't want to take any risks.
He continues getting boo'd by the fans and Dana will be forced to put him on free events.

Definitely, it's another factor to take into account. That's why i'm waiting for a Lawler rematch or Masvidal before i make my mind, the guy has been way more fun to watch against fighters of that caliber. We'll see.

I think we were watching different fights man haha. The McGregor vs Diaz 2 fight was a hell of a lot more entertaining than the Woodley vs Maia fight by a WIDE MARGIN. You would've been better off using the tried and true Diaz vs Condit fight man, because THAT was the very definition on which all other "runners" are based in fighting IMO.

Woodley has 9 first round knockouts. He slept Lawler with ease. Beat Thompson twice and did to Maia what few have done, but he is boring? GSP was the most boring lay and pray artist in UFC history and many say he is one of the greatest ever. So should Woodley have submitted Maia? How many people have KOed Maia? Some fans hate Tyron because he refuses to lose to lesser fighters who are afraid of his power and avoid confrontation at all cost, but that's Woodley's fault too? Why is no one criticizing Maia's shitty cowardly performance? Why didn't he just rush in and try more and aggressive takedowns. Why can't this one trick pony stand with Woodley and bang? Fan is short for fanatic.

All the people whom have decision'd Maia:
- Rory MacDonald
- Jake Shields
- Chris Weidman
- Mark Munoz
- Anderson Silva

So Woodley did nothing special. If you want to talk about doing to Maia what few have done than that would be Nate Marquardt who KO'd Maia.

Apart from that he did not hit Woodley a single time, yet Woddley was about to knock him down a couple times.

All be it ineffective, Maia landed the left.  Atleast one nice one, and some grazes.
Therefore, these two statements you made are false.  Just saying.

It's identity politics at best or plain racism at worse Memnon.

Fans were not booing when Conor was running away from Daiz in the second fight. That's proof of identity politics.

Out of 27 fights, GSP has 8 knockouts.
Out of 22 fights, Woodely has 6 knockouts.

So, will GSP fight a stand up fight against Bisping?

NO, LOL.

Why would GSP play to Bisping's strength?

Why would he take that risk and why should he even take any damage if he can avoid it altogether?

It will be interesting to read all the comments from that fight.  :)

^^

There you go again with the race baiting nonsense Rique. Do you know how many people BOO'd GSP for his lay n pray tactics? At one point in time there was an actual petition going around to change GSP's fight moniker from "Rush" to "Wet Blanket". People constantly hated on GSP. The reason why many consider him one of the greatest is because he was able to employ tactics and play out his game plan in almost each and every fight. Even though they hated his style of fighting he got the job done when other fighters hadn't been able to against certain fighters. What Woodley did to Maia, like Kizzo said, WASN'T special at all. You and Memnon are only saying the things you are saying because you BOTH concentrate way too much on race. IF GSP employs the same wet blanket method of fighting on Bisping as we were used to seeing before his semi retirement, trust me you will see plenty of people complaining about that too. The race of the fighter has NOTHING to do with it. Part of the reason people don't like Woodley is because he insulted an entire region of the country and implied they were all racists, when he was the one actually being racist by stereotyping.
