Ok I just had my body fat tested and I'm 18.2% body fat. I thought cool but then I realised I have no clue what that means. Anyone know? What your body fat should be whats the healthy limits etc etc etc?

i have like 20% so dont feel bad and yes i have a small extera baggage but im still doing good, the best thing to do is eat like you have diabetes im already starting to loose fat but it will take a while also just runing around your local park untill you puke works to and weight lifting replaces that fat with muscle so you dont get fatueged

How do you test that? do they do that fat squeez thing or do you need one of those fancy ass scales cause I dont even have a scale :/

Aye electric scales, they aint expensive but not entirely accurate, they send a static current to read you fat but if you have drank water or that it will effect the reading.
At the doc they do pinch tests on varied parts of your body.

It was a machine that you put your age height and weight into then it sends an electical charge through your body and it measures the resistance, to be honest I don't really know but that is what was explained to me it sends a charge through you and tests resistance I'm guessing fat gives a different kind of resistance or something.

Re: body fat
Hi Past,
I don't know which scale is best, I would imagine they all use the same technology (give or take very slight differences). They use a small electrical current, and fat is less conductive. So they will require you to input a few pieces of personal data such as gender, age and height; from this estimations are made from averages (average bone mass for example) to then calculate and make some estimation of your body fat percentage.
Basically, don't be scammed into buying an overly expensive one.
If you want really good accuracy then ask your doctor to do a pinch test. You can then compare the pinch test results with the electric scales to see which direction the margin of error likely goes.

Re: body fat
I've been using the mirror test.
It's super accurate. I look in the mirror. If I don't see my abs I panic and increase exercise and sightly reduce eating crap like chocolate and other sugary fatty foods, and lean more on protein and veggies. Within a few days there is improvement, in a few weeks there is big improvement. Then I go back to chocolate

Re: body fat
Very scientific.
Do you carry a gun because diet can't increase penis size, causing the 'mirror test' to be a difficult and upsetting ordeal?
In before you tell me pulled pork increases penis size.
