Former UFC champ Jon Jones completes probation following 2015 hit-and-run

Former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) light heavyweight champion Jon Jones -- currently suspended from mixed martial arts (MMA) for drug-related shenanigans -- successfully completed his supervised probation handed down in the wake of 2015’s hit-and-run. That’s according to a report from TMZ.

Jones, who smacked up his rental car and plowed into a pregnant woman in Albuquerque, New Mexico, was scheduled to complete 72 separate appearances for charity or youth outreach across a span of 18 months in order to keep a felony charge off his permanent record. More on how that drama unfolded right here.

During his absence, UFC put the stripped 205-pound title up for grabs at UFC 187. Daniel Cormier was able to capture the crown after slugging it out with Anthony Johnson and following a pair of recent wins, "DC" will rematch the streaking “Rumble” next month in Buffalo, New York (details).

That puts Jones, who already holds a win over Cormier, in line to face the winner when his suspension ends this July (just not in the main event), assuming he’s done hanging around all those “idiots.”

Quick,  put him on a leash and lock him in a safe room.

This guy will find trouble while drinking a glass of water.

Poor people can't afford the same legal representation that rich people can.
